My name is Nika.

It is my pleasure to be able to create this website as a window into my personal vision and share it with the world. It is also my hope that I can assist you in realizing your own vision through the medium of photography. 

I began as a self-taught hobbyist in my teenage years, capturing all the tiny moments that I believed were so profoundly important. Apart from the obligatory school photos that crowded the family album, there were very few shots of me living the carefree life I had as a child. I would buy disposable cameras with my lunch money and develop the film at the local drugstore once they were full, promising myself that I would document everything I could for myself, my peers, and my future children.

While I am proficient in most forms of photography, I thrive best in portraiture and journalism. The ability to take an organic moment and memorialize it is an indescribable, yet natural feeling.

I am also a graduate student of Clinical Psychology, so feel free to open up! Chances are I know how you're feeling.

Outside of school, I travel to events around the country. I attend many anime conventions on a regular basis, and when I'm not behind the lens, I am absolutely in front of it. I am an accomplished cosplayer and I do craft my own costumes (the person in the bunny suit is me). With that in mind, I will be keeping a tentative schedule of upcoming events so you can catch me while on the road!
